Biography
I am Daniela Trent, and I serve as a Director in the Legal Managed Solutions – Commercial division at Morae.
As a member of our Client Partner group, I lead a diverse team of legal professionals with varied backgrounds and expertise in the commercial contracting space, all based at one of our delivery centers in Cape Town, South Africa.
With over 13 years of experience as an admitted attorney, I’ve honed my expertise in commercial contracting and procurement. I joined Morae through the acquisition of Exigent Group in 2023. During my 11-year tenure at Exigent, I successfully managed multiple teams and supported large global corporations with their commercial contract needs across various industries, including mining, oil and gas, and engineering. Additionally, I have end-to-end procurement experience and a background in legal project management. Prior to Exigent, I worked at a general practice, primarily within their corporate and commercial law department.
